Green Policy

Here at Fantasticals, we are fully aware of our corporate responsibility to the well being of the planet and are committed to being environmentally aware at every opportunity. As a company, we pledge to follow the basic 3 R’s; reduce, reuse and recycle and are committed to continuous improvement of our systems to ensure compliance. All our staff are encouraged to take an active interest in environmental issues and understand the environmental effects of their activities.

We have carefully selected suppliers who can comply with our environmental policies and are proud to stock products from companies such as Lanka Kade and Plan Toy. As well as ensuring most of their wooden toys are made from exhausted rubber plantations that are replanted every 10-15 years and re useing packing materials, Lanka Kade are also a Fair Trade supplier. Plan Toy use replenishable rubberwood for their products which are preservative free and processed naturally. Plan Toy are highly committed to reducing waste and saving energy. All of our wooden products at Fantasticals have been selected because they are made from replenishable and sustainable sources such as rubberwood.

The Fantasticals Team have a particular focus on recycling. All our promotional material is printed using recycled paper and card, our packing material, boxes and tape are all recyclable and we re use packaging material used by our suppliers. Occasionally, we will send your product to you using non recyclable material, but this will have been recycled by ourselves as sometimes we receive items in non recyclable material. Rather than throw this away, it seems better to re use it!

In the Fantasticals offices, we operate a “power saving policy” and ensure all staff are aware of this. That means all power supplies must be turned off at close of business including computers, monitors, lights, photocopiers and printers.
